!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I can’t say I’m surprised. Sometimes “car people”, like all people, are pretty terrible. The biggest amateur CO car show, probably 2,000 or more cars, is this Sunday. I’m pre-registered but really disinterested at this point. Putting my son’s car seat in the Z and just going for a drive with him sounds like a hell of a lot more fun. I should still really clean it up from that last track day, though.

I’m taking my Z to cars and coffee for the first time in awhile on sunday. I’ve been doing so much to it in between working I’ve either been lazy or it wasn’t ready.

That’s an option, too, but means I’d have to clean it up tomorrow morning (now today), beforehand, which sounds more like work than not, and still has the same people problem. I’m currently wondering if I could easily fit fishing rods in the Z, or if we should take the turbo-conversion truck instead.

Seems like all flavors of idiot were well represented, including and perhaps especially the under-22 set. Some are doing some amazing contortions to blame the private, self-funded, volunteer club organizers, as if they somehow forced the bros to bounce off the rev limiter, do burnouts on Main, or roll coal.

Yeah, that pretty much nails it. We still have the Golden SuperCruise, but that only continues through a lot of effort and cash from the organizers, who have a stake in it via some business links that benefit, and they are constantly fighting the same idiocy.
